This was a complete re-design and build of the front and back garden. This property belongs to a very active family of 4 (including two children). However the front garden was impractical for two cars and off loading shopping. And the back garden didn't encourage the family to use it. Being a professional family maintenance needed to be kept to a minimum.

We maximized on the space in the front garden by widening the parking area and kept the planting simple. In the back we divided the long rectangular garden into three main spaces. The first is an 'adult' space for socializing, relaxing and general visual enjoyment which includes a herb garden and a water feature. The second area is a lawned space for ball games and picnics. The third is more functional and includes a children's play structure, a shed, a bike rack and a clothes hanging area.

The garden design has been sympathetic to the style of the property and the success of this garden can be seen by the amount of people who use it and the enjoyment they get out of it.
