Woodingdean, East Sussex

This cottage in Woodingdean benefits from fantastic views of the South Downs. The garden was originally given over to the chickens and dogs so this was our opportunity to turn it into a beautiful functional space for its owners to enjoy as well!

The brief included a deck for entertaining, a carp pond, a chicken run and a lawn. The design had to accommodate an existing Olive tree and Turtle sculpture and we added a Gazebo for quiet contemplation from which to appreciate the South Downs backdrop.
