The design had to compliment the new interiors and set off the house while providing easy access to the house, play areas for the children, social eating areas, quiet areas and a kitchen garden.

Features include mass planting in triangular beds, a hedgerow tunnel for the children to play, board walks across planted areas, a sunken coffee deck, a front garden of slate pavers set in light gravel punched with self seeding perennials, a herb and kitchen garden.
