Happy New Year One and All

Seasons Greetings and welcome to our Blog!

After you’ve devoured the Turkey you may have a few quiet days at home to contemplate your plans for 2011.  Perhaps they include ideas for the garden!

This is the perfect time of year to really see whats missing or where its overcrowded.  You could start by asking yourself a few of the following questions;

  • Do we have enough all year round interest?
  • Do we have we enough bulbs?  There are bulbs for every season of the year.
  • What veg will we grow this year?
  • What fruit might we introduce this year?
  • What if anything would I edit out of the garden (what am I bored of looking at)?
  • What did I enjoy most about the garden last year?
  • Do we have enough shade in the garden?
  • Do we need more privacy?
  • Should we be enlisting the help of a professional?

There’s a lot to think about – perhaps your garden is a low maintenance children friendly garden but with very little interest.  Perhaps you have a lovely cottage garden with the same perrenials coming up each year which you’d love to edit but dont have the heart.  Perhaps you dont have the right facilities – a compost bin, a leaf mulching area, a shed or just a simple garden bench.  Perhaps its just time for a total change.

All decisions cost money and quite often it pays to ask for some help and direction.
