Our Company

Good Grounding provides a complete service in garden design, installation and maintenance. Our goal is to encourage greater interaction with the outdoors. Our design philosophy is to understand your needs, to place architecture in the context that it deserves and to master the ‘spirit’ of your garden.

Founded in Sydney in 2004, Good Grounding is now based in the UK and Ireland. We offer a fresh look at how your outdoor space can be transformed into an exciting yet practical garden. Our experience in design and passion for quality workmanship has helped our clients achieve outstanding results in coastal, country and urban areas.

Our Designer

Katy Terry graduated in garden design from Ryde Horticultural college in Sydney. She completed her plant studies at Merrist Wood, Guildford and has worked with some of Australia’s most notable design studios. Her approach marries many Southern Hemisphere influences with a deep understanding of the great tradition of British and Irish garden design. Most of all, she aspires to make a difference to the way we use our outdoor spaces and interact with the environment.
